The term New Age was used as early as 1809 by William Blake
who described a coming era of spiritual and artistic advancement
in his preface to Milton a Poem by stating: “… when the New Age
is at leisure to pronounce, all will be set right …”

We also need to understand at the first that the main problem in the church is that many do not believe the entire Word of God to be true.

31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

This is a real stumbling block to some of my brothers and sisters in the Lord most of all in the Nazarene denomination even though many Nazarenes believe scripture to be true cover to cover.

The apostle John under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit also wrote in 1 John Chapter 3 that the earth is divided into two sets of people children of God and children of the devil. Movements like the Emergent church and other followers of the coming new age would like to add a touch of gray to this black and white statement of scripture.

The true church of Jesus Christ is now under assault from all fronts not only from the Emergent church but the false signs and wonders movement as well. The Nazarenes are getting hit by this as well from speakers like Dan Bohi. I get many emails from Nazarene’s who have been to Dan’s meeting and have all kinds of scriptural red flags go off when this guy preaches.

What confuses people is that even apparent nice guys could and can be scripturally off base as well as just plain false teachers.

I document Dan and his signs and wonders preaching in my articles here.

http://nazarenepsalm113.wordpress.com/2011/08/03/the-signs-and-wonders-movement-hit-the-nazarene-denomination/

Read the two articles and decide for yourselves.

Dan has not changed and there is very real concern about his teaching and preaching.

The second fold problem is weak leadership who are afraid to speak up on the problem. I recently pointed this out on the Concerned Nazarenes FB page and came under fire because the evangelist is well liked.

He promoted the Alpha course even though he listed that his church had changed it around.

I hear this a lot.

The problem is that at its origins the Alpha course attempts to unify Christians with the church of Rome.

Many Nazarenes have already bought into Roman practice. False leader Jon Middendorf church celebrated the Eucharist with a Catholic church that was near by.

Catholics see communion in a different way than Biblical Christians do.

I have also heard for the last year and a half or so that there has been all these secret prayer meetings among the evangelists and many tears were shed etc..

But to date there has been no action taken and they for sure support Dan Bohi as a group.

Prayer is always needed but that usually results in guidance from God and then action.

These weeping prayer meetings sound more like politics to me rather than godly gatherings.

The Holy Spirit always will turn people to Gods Word and evil will be exposed.

The Road to Rome which the Nazarenes and many others are on will always result in a Road to Babylon and the endtime one world religion.

Problem here if you read books from Nazarene leaders like Dan Boone in his apostate Chicken Little book he does not believe in the endtimes the way scripture teaches.

More to come in Part Two-The Road to Rome Meets the Road to Babylon

We get accused sometime of not doing our homework and not reading the various authors and false teachers we expose.
Thats simply not true.

New Links

February 5, 2009

I have just added a bunch of new links be sure to check them out.
The Inerrancy of Gods Word conference was a real blessing.
Jacob Prasch was very good and I enjoyed the hang time I got with Jacob who came up singing “This Diamond Ring” by Gary Lewis and the Playboys to me.
(fyi I played with Gary in the late 70’s early 80’s)
Jacob was funny but yet a skilled teacher speaking on the Bible and false interpretations, as well as Heresy and Biblical authority.
Jacob also spoke on the errors of Calvinism and how John Calvin studied the Bible. Jacob also touched on humanism.
Very powerful speaker.
Everyone else did a great job as well.
And it was always good to play some music with Buck Storm.
Peace
Tim

FYI

February 1, 2009

Hi to all: I am wrapping up being at a conference in Tempe,AZ with a lot of friends and brothers and sisters in the Lord. Spent some great time with my friend and brother Buck Storm worshipping the Lord and playing some wonderful music. Always good to play music with Buck.
Also spent a lot of time with our good friends Don and Sue Butler. Iron sharpens Iron.
Plus it was great to meet Jacob Prasch, David Hocking, Bill Koening, Dr Rick Oliver, Randall Price as well as spending some time with my friend and brother in the Lord Warren Smith.
Warren did a great job on exposing the book “The Shack”. More to come on that as well as topics the others addressed.
Pastor John Higgins was a wonderful host as well.
More to come on all this and lots of information coming this this week once I get back and have had some time to rest.

I will also be shutting off all comment’s on all my blogs and website’s.
It is a free country and people can respond to what I write and post on their own blogs.
To many times debate just turns into a schoolyard fight with people just gathering to watch the fight.
People in both camps.
I will lose hits because when you have guys like Richie Abanes, Greg Horton, or even Michael Newnham at Phoenix Preacher people will gather for the fight.
It all just crumbles down to petty bickering, and foolish talk .
None of which builds up the Body of Christ.
I will speak more on this later in the week.
There is a lot more unity than you would think.
At the conference I saw people who didnt agree 100% with each other come together with a common purpose.
I was also very encouraged to see the huge amount of young people at the conference who were hungry for truth and acurate information in this great time of deception.
I have asked some people mostly in the Nazarene denomination to reply publically they can still do that from their own blog, websites and or pulpits.
Again more on all this later.
We will also be expanding our links page make sure you check that out.
I can still be contacted by email for any concerns
More to come next week.
Peace and Blessings
Tim Wirth

I will be playing percussion for Buck Storm this weekend at a Bible conference so any comments will be held until I get back on Monday. I am grateful to be playing someplace warm and not in a foot of snow as well as near my home town of Phoenix, Ariz.
Here is the link to the conference.

Hope to see some of you there.

Politics or the Gospel

January 25, 2009

My brothers and sisters in the Lord at the Berean Call sent me this. In leiu of Rick Warren praying using the muslim name for Jesus (another jesus Rick why dont you get that one?).
As well as a new president.
I am reminded we need to pray for our leaders like em or not.
And I was not happy with Bush as well because of his universalist views same as Warrens.
I just dont get how you can say Jesus is the only way in with one side of your mouth and then preach that the muslim god is the same but O well.
I want to stay away from politics here.
Praying for our leaders as well as our new president is something we need to do according to Romans 13:1-6.
Keep in mind that while Paul wrote this inspired by the Holy Spirit, Nero was in charge.
Nero was not a friend of Christians but yet Paul adomonished those that are Christian to pray for him.
I will obey scripture here.
I will also remember I am just passing through here I have a different home in heaven
Heb 11:13-16 states
“3 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them,[a] embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 15 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.”
Jesus also assures us of our heavenly home in John 14:2, “In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.”
Enjoy the article-Tim

POLITICS OR THE GOSPEL

“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence” (John 18:36).

The fact that Christ’s Kingdom Is not of this world is enough to keep me out of the world’s politics. If I participate in politics, then I am casting a vote of confidence in the system’s ability to solve the world’s problems. But frankly, I have no such confidence because I know that “the whole world lieth in wickedness” (1 John 5:19).

Politics has proved singularly ineffective in solving the problems of society. Political remedies are nothing but a band-aid on a festering sore: they do not get at the source of the infection. We know that sin is the basic trouble in our sick society. Anything that fails to deal with sin cannot be taken seriously as a cure.

It becomes a matter of priorities, then. Should I spend time in political involvement or should I devote that same time to the spread of the gospel? Jesus answered the question when He said, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:60). Our top priority must be to make Christ known because He is the answer to the world’s problems.
